About

The Northwest Association of Community Development Managers (NWACDM) was established in 1986 as a coalition of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) entitlement communities. Our membership includes cities and counties from Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington who implement CDBG, HOME, and ESG programs.

Since our inception, NWACDM has been committed to fostering collaboration and information-sharing among our members. Our primary goal is to help each community better implement its community development and housing programs through the exchange of best practices, innovative ideas, and strategies for success.

Over the years, NWACDM has grown into a dynamic and active organization that serves as a valuable resource for community development professionals across the Pacific Northwest. Our members represent a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences, but share a common commitment to serving low and moderate-income households and creating more equitable, sustainable communities.

Through our annual conferences, online forums, webinars, and other events, NWACDM provides our members with opportunities to connect, learn, and collaborate. We are proud of the role we have played in supporting community development efforts throughout the region, and we look forward to continuing our work for years to come.
